Isaac Ji is a curator based between Shanghai and London and is currently pursuing an MA in Curating at Goldsmiths, University of London.
His research spans linguistics, postcolonial critique, and queer theory. Beginning from the contradictions and fractures embedded in everyday experience, his curatorial practice uses artistic inquiry to reveal obscured power relations and underlying structural issues.
He is particularly concerned with the mechanisms through which meaning is produced, and how meaning is continually shaped, contested, and reconfigured amid shifting contexts and social tensions.
